O grze High School Devil's Shadow

Ta recenzja nie została jeszcze przetłumaczona — pokazujemy oryginał (English).

High School Devil's Shadow is a Taiwanese game from 1994 that mixes strategy with occult material and sets it in a high school. The combination was virtually unheard of outside Chinese-language markets, and it is still hard to name a close equivalent anywhere else.

High School Devil's Shadow – screenshot 1

The game never received an English release and Western documentation is essentially non-existent; it appears in no mainstream database and in no period magazine coverage. What is left is a record of how the 1990s Taiwanese scene invented genres of its own, without looking over its shoulder at what happened to be selling in America.
