About Spellcross

Spellcross is a turn-based strategy game on an isometric map, developed by the Slovak studio Cauldron and released in 1997. You command your units, moving them across map tiles and using terrain and action points. Between missions you manage a strategic map, earn money and upgrade research and your army. The Czech edition was published by JRC Interactive in December 1997, and the English one by SCi (Sales Curve Interactive) in 1998. It is one of the best-known Slovak and Czech games of its time and still has loyal fans who value its atmosphere and demanding battles. The developer is Cauldron, not Eidos Interactive as sometimes listed. This page loads the Czech version from an archive.org bundle of about 700 MB.
