About Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion

Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion is a 1991 MS-DOS platformer with an outsized place in gaming history, thanks to the people who made it. It was an early collaboration among the young id Software crew, including John Romero and John Carmack, and its predecessor's tech is famous for a legendary tech demo that proved smooth side-scrolling was possible on the PC, work that fed directly into Commander Keen.
