Truco Arbiser 5.4

Truco is the Argentine card game everybody knows, and Truco Arbiser is its most famous computer version. Release 5.4 is the final and most widely circulated revision of a program the Arbisers kept refining from the mid-eighties until 1992, written in assembler with real effort spent on making the computer opponent call and bluff like a human player.

At home the program has the status of a national classic. It is usually described as the first computerised version of Argentine truco and a cornerstone of the country's gaming history; it spread on diskettes and BBSes until the Arbiser name became shorthand for a truco program.
