About Jake Cool Trilogy

Jake Cool Trilogy is a compilation of three humorous games starring a hero named Jake Cool, released under the RmM label by hobbyists from Finland's 1990s home-computer scene. Version 1.2 bundles all three episodes, including the previously unreleased Jake Cool III, and the original BBS blurb promises humour, animation, the Finnish language and — in the authors' own words — even more humour.

Small freeware titles like this circulated on Finnish BBS boards in the nineties and are almost unknown outside Finland; international retro sites rarely cover the scene at all. Even without knowing Finnish, the trilogy is a curious document of what was being made on home PCs at the time.
