Σχετικά με το Jake Cool Trilogy

Αυτή η κριτική δεν έχει μεταφραστεί ακόμη — εμφανίζουμε το πρωτότυπο (English).

Jake Cool Trilogy is a compilation of three humorous games starring a hero named Jake Cool, released under the RmM label by hobbyists from Finland's 1990s home-computer scene. Version 1.2 bundles all three episodes, including the previously unreleased Jake Cool III, and the original BBS blurb promises humour, animation, the Finnish language and — in the authors' own words — even more humour.

Small freeware titles like this circulated on Finnish BBS boards in the nineties and are almost unknown outside Finland; international retro sites rarely cover the scene at all. Even without knowing Finnish, the trilogy is a curious document of what was being made on home PCs at the time.

You can play the whole trilogy right in your browser here on OldGame.cz.

Gaming platform – MS-DOS / PC_□✕
About the platform 1981–2000

For two decades MS-DOS was the main gaming platform on PCs. Games launched from the command line and used sound cards like Sound Blaster or AdLib. DOS is the home of legends such as Doom, Prince of Persia and Commander Keen.

Maker: IBM PC / Microsoft  ·  Years: 1981–2000

Here on oldgame.cz you play it right in your browser via the js-dos emulator — no install, no plugins, on desktop and mobile.

Recommended controls: These games are controlled with the keyboard (see the controls table next to the game). A USB joystick/gamepad can make some titles more comfortable, but is not required.
