Green from the early nineties is simply a mystery. It's unclear who actually made it, there's no manual, no box with a producer name—just a game that appeared on a disk around 1992 and waited for someone to take it seriously. When you start it, it tells you nothing.

It's a puzzle, or rather some logic task hidden in a minimalist interface. On screen things move—colors, shapes, pixels—and you're supposed to intuitively understand what's supposed to happen. There's no tutorial, no story, just some visual behavior you have to interpret yourself. It's like watching a program from someone who had no time or desire to explain the rules.

Green left mainly a question mark in memory. At a time when normal games talked and explained every detail, this was a pleasantly eccentric exception. It does nothing special, no tricky graphics engine, no sound achievement—just simple design emphasizing problem-solving without instructions. Many will get frustrated, some will get caught.

Today it fits those who enjoy quiet puzzles without chatter. It's not a game for hours, more for a few minutes you either get annoyed with or laugh at your own stupidity. In your browser it's definitely worth trying—if not for fun then for the strangeness.
