Agent USA is an educational game from Tom Snyder Productions, published by Scholastic in the mid-1980s and best remembered from its versions on home computers of the era. You play a secret agent racing by train across a stylized map of the United States, chasing the spreading menace of the "FuzzBomb" that is turning citizens into piles of static fuzz. The premise is pure Cold War-era whimsy, but underneath it the game is quietly teaching geography, time zones and a bit of resource management.

What made it clever was how naturally the learning was folded into play: you buy train tickets, watch the clock change as you cross the country, and plan routes between cities while managing your supply of crystals used to fight the fuzz. It's a gentle, thoughtful design rather than an action title.
