Quest for the Shaven Yak Starring Ren Hoëk & Stimpy

Ez az ismertető még nincs lefordítva — az eredetit mutatjuk (English).

A platform game based on the Nickelodeon cartoon The Ren & Stimpy Show. You pick either Ren the chihuahua or Stimpy the cat and work through deliberately ugly, grotesque stages on the trail of the Shaven Yak. The 8-bit original was written for the Game Gear by Realtime Associates in 1993; the Master System conversion followed only in 1995, from Tec Toy of Brazil.

Tec Toy is also the reason the cartridge exists at all. Sega had written the 8-bit console off in Europe and North America, but in Brazil the Master System kept selling, and its local licensee went on converting games that elsewhere had appeared on the Game Gear at best. Ren and Stimpy stayed a purely Brazilian affair, which is why international retro sites usually pass the title by. On OldGame.cz the game runs right in your browser.
