Aces Over Europe

Aces Over Europe is Dynamix's 1993 follow-up to Aces of the Pacific, shifting the action from the islands of the Pacific to the skies over Western Europe in the later years of World War II. Players fly for the Allies or the Luftwaffe, taking the controls of aircraft like the P-51 Mustang, the Spitfire, and German fighters, flying escort, interception, and ground-attack missions across the European campaign.

Built on the engine and design philosophy of its predecessor, it kept the strong career structure and mission variety that made the series stand out, while giving players a fresh roster of planes and a different strategic backdrop. As with much of Dynamix's flight work, it balanced accessibility against enough simulation to feel authentic. It sits comfortably in the well-regarded lineage of early-90s Sierra/Dynamix combat sims, and for fans of the Aces series it is a natural companion piece to the Pacific game.
