Truco '96 is an unlicensed Argentine Mega Drive cartridge of the domestic card game truco. It was put out by the local firm Miky and sold in Argentine shops in the second half of the 1990s; the interface is entirely in Spanish and cards are chosen with buttons labelled Carta 1, Carta 2 and Carta 3.

What makes it notable is where it came from. Only a handful of console games were built specifically for the Argentine market, and truco is the most telling of them: instead of another football or racing title, players got the card game they knew from the family table. Outside Argentina almost nobody ever saw it.
