The Spanish scene of the late eighties was remarkably productive, and this 1988 release comes straight out of it, with Dro Soft and Zenit Soft attached to its publication, names associated with domestic distribution and development for eight-bit machines. The ZX Spectrum remained the dominant platform in Spain for years, which explains both the volume of local output and why so much of it never left Spanish-speaking markets.

Arcade titles of the period worked from a clear formula: advance through an environment, destroy or evade threats, gather what is needed and cope with steep difficulty without any save option. Cassette distribution meant games had to be short and demanding at the same time, since repetition substituted for length. Spectrum graphics assigned colour in blocks, so developers concentrated on strong silhouettes and backgrounds clean enough to read at speed.

With games like this it helps to treat the first several attempts as instruction. There is no tutorial, controls are discovered by trying keys, and level layouts only become clear after a few runs. Accept that and you get a game built for short sessions in which each attempt is measured against the last one.
