The action unfolds in Egypt, China, and other exotic locales, which back then felt futuristic for home computers and smelled gloriously of adventure.

The controls are straightforward and sticky — exactly what you want from this kind of game. Punches, kicks, jumps. Pick up a weapon from the ground and the fight opens up in new ways. Nunchaku, swords, stones — each tool shifts the battle rhythm. The mechanics are old as time, but that's where their magic lives.
