This is probably how parents felt in the early 2000s — catching whatever kids see on TV and checking if it actually works on a handheld. Rugrats Go Wild does it straightforwardly, without big ambitions. Just a game for kids who love loud, run-of-the-mill behavior and cosmic hugs in little cars.

It's a side-scrolling platformer with four heroes from the beloved family series — you can pick between the little characters and work through levels, collect stuff, and smack enemies while wielding a banana or a die block. The game repeats itself: you enter a scene, jump over obstacles, slash whatever moves, gather pickups. Nothing complicated, nothing original. Controls are standard — movement, jump, attack — no weapon swaps or special abilities to make you think.

What makes playing bearable is that the game knows what it wants. It's not long, it's not hard, it's not packed with awkward animations.
