Saints is one of the least documented titles of the Finnish home-computer scene of the 1990s. Not even its original BBS blurb has survived, so nothing certain can be said about its genre, authors or year of release — all we know is that it circulated among Finnish DOS users alongside thousands of similar small freeware and shareware programs.

Games like this are the easiest to lose: the big international retro archives barely cover the Finnish BBS scene, and without a period description even the basic context disappears. We include it in the catalogue all the same — not least because the best way to find out what Saints actually is, is simply to start it up.
