Alien Incident

Alien Incident is a 1996 point-and-click adventure from the Finnish studio Housemarque, published by GameTek. It appeared near the tail end of the classic adventure boom, when the genre was still producing cartoonish, comedic quests in the spirit of the LucasArts and Sierra titles that defined the format. Its science-fiction premise and light-hearted tone place it among the more approachable adventures of the mid-90s.

It's notable partly for its pedigree: Housemarque would go on to become far better known for fast arcade-style action games, making this early adventure an interesting outlier in the studio's history. While I won't detail specific puzzles I'm not certain of, its identity as a humorous sci-fi point-and-click is clear, and it remains a modest but genuine entry in the twilight years of the traditional adventure game.
