Sapo Xulé: O Mestre do Kung Fu is the most combat-heavy chapter of the Brazil-only trilogy starring the smelly-footed frog. In 1995, Tec Toy — Sega's official partner in Brazil — took the 1987 martial-arts game Kung Fu Kid (known in Japan as Makai Retsuden) and put Sapo Xulé in the lead role: the plush toy frog that was a merchandising sensation in Brazilian toy shops, children's papers and comic stands at the time.

The gameplay stays true to the original: the frog fights his way through seven rounds packed with monsters, dishing out lightning-fast kicks, leaping to absurd heights and facing a boss at the end of every stage. It is simple, old-school action of the most addictive kind — the sort of game that swallowed whole afternoons on the Master System, because "one more try" never really was the last one.

The game was never released outside Brazil; together with its two siblings it ranks among the best-known exclusives Tec Toy used to feed the country's loyal 8-bit audience deep into the 16-bit era. The original 1995 Brazilian Tec Toy release can be played right in your browser on OldGame.cz.
