The second and last Doraemon game for the Famicom is a straightforward Japanese RPG: a top-down world map, exploration and random turn-based battles seen from the first person. The party is led by the robot cat Doraemon and his friends, the villain is Gigazombie, and the central idea is time travel — the group hops between historical eras and changes made in the past reshape the present.

It was developed by Red, published by Epoch in September 1990 and never left Japan or the Japanese language. It still reached Thailand the way most Famicom software reached Southeast Asia: through grey imports and clone consoles, where cartridges based on a popular anime sold regardless of the language barrier.
