Dizzy - Crash Special Edition is a curious chapter in the history of one of the ZX Spectrum's best-loved series. Dizzy the egg, hero of the Oliver twins' adventure platformers, was one of the brightest stars of the British 8-bit world in the late eighties – and this record carries the name of Crash magazine, itself an institution of the Spectrum scene.

Crash had been published since 1984 and was something between a bible and a clubhouse for Spectrum owners.
