Drömmarnas land

Drömmarnas land — "Land of Dreams" — is a Swedish DOS title from 1996. It belongs to the thinnest part of the catalogue: released in Swedish, outside major distribution, and absent from the international databases. Essentially only the name, the year and the platform are documented, and several Swedish books and films share the title, which does not help the search.

The context is worth knowing all the same. Sweden's mid-1990s scene had a strong tradition of domestic production: educational software for schools, freeware games written in QBasic, and small publishers pressing floppies for the local market. Almost none of it was released in English, so an entire layer of games stayed visible only at home.
