Jungler was developed by Konami in 1982 and distributed in North America by Stern Electronics. It is a maze action game in which the player moves through corridors occupied by segmented, snake-like opponents — and handling those segments is the core of the design. Hitting a creature in the middle produces a different outcome from hitting it at the tail, so even simple shooting requires deciding where and when to fire.
