Mravenci

Mravenci ("Ants") is a Czech logic game from 2000, made by Gemtree Software — the studio behind Miroslav Němeček's well-loved puzzle titles, including the classic Vlak (Sokoban-style train game). Like its stablemates, Mravenci belongs to the tradition of thoughtful, home-grown Czech brain-teasers that circulated widely on the DOS and early Windows scene in the 1990s and around the turn of the millennium.

True to the Gemtree pedigree, it is the kind of puzzle game built around guiding little creatures — here ants — through levels that ask for planning and careful sequencing rather than fast reflexes. It reflects the strong Czech tradition of accessible, family-friendly logic games, and for players who grew up with that scene it carries real nostalgic value.
