Chapolim x Drácula: Um Duelo Assustador is one of the best-known curiosities of Brazilian gaming. In 1993, Tec Toy — Sega's official partner in Brazil — took the 1986 haunted-house platformer Ghost House and, with Sega's authorization, swapped its hero for Chapolim: the bumbling superhero parody created and played by Roberto Gómez Bolaños, better known as Chespirito. His show aired practically every day on Brazil's SBT network, making the character a national institution far beyond his native Mexico.

The game itself is a brisk 8-bit action platformer. The little red hero explores the Draculas' haunted mansion, punching bats, mummies and fire-breathing creatures, waking vampires from their coffins, collecting keys and finally squaring off against the counts themselves. Ghost House was pure arcade design, and the reskin kept its fast, no-nonsense pace fully intact.
