World Destruction

Ventamatic was a Spanish studio active in the mid-eighties, when the Iberian games industry was finding its own footing. Spain had a distinctive situation at that moment: the ZX Spectrum was exceptionally widespread there, domestic publishers grew quickly, and a body of software emerged that barely circulated in Britain, just as much British software never reached Spanish shelves.

World Destruction, from 1985, is listed as an arcade title, which for the Spectrum in this period generally means action with a clear objective, rising difficulty and no narrative to speak of.
