About the game

Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse is a 1994 action RPG from Cyberlore, published by SSI under the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons license. Rather than the turn-based party systems SSI was known for with its Gold Box games, this one draws on the Al-Qadim campaign setting, an Arabian Nights-flavored corner of the Forgotten Realms full of genies, corsairs and desert intrigue. You control a single hero in real-time combat and exploration, giving it a faster, more arcade-like feel than the studio's usual output.
